SITE INFORMATION & RISK ASSESSMENT

We have a full and comprehensive risk assessment for the Pinewood site (click on the link below for PDF). This covers the individual areas of the site and the potential risks. This list is not exhaustive, and the document is organic. There may be more things that we add as the site evolves, so please ensure you have our most up to date version. Separate risk assessments are in place for activity delivery.

If you are using our site independently, you will be expected to have your own risk assessments to cover all of your activities and you must ensure that your insurance covers you and your group for the activities that you are planning to deliver. If you have any questions, please get in touch and we'll be more than happy to help.

The Pinewood Trust DIY SOS Big Build 2021
The Pinewood site has been taken to another level, with the support of hundreds of volunteers and resources for DIY SOS Big Build Children in Need Special. The staff of St. Michael's Youth Project (SMYP Hull) have worked tirelessly in their own time, from 2018 to 2021 , to create a site for young people to experience the outdoors. Their work has been championed by Children in Need and the BBC, and enabled this amazing build to take place. It will provide a place for many more children and young people to experience across Hull and East Riding. Click here to find out more...
